Our experience is that these numbers and these claims not only change monthly, but are aggregated and deciphered loosely—often making the information suspect if not flat out wrong. We all want to be successful. In any sales business we all want the world to know we’re successful. But the path to and quest for being #1 in the local real estate marketplace has become fraught with deceit and risk for the consumer.

As a real estate consumer, you should not be just a statistic, a dollar sign in the eyes of your representative. Your interests are not sales volume, not a commission check nor bragging rights. Do your due-diligence. Make sure who you hire as your buyers’ or sellers’ agent has your interests alone in sharp focus.
